March mists

In my last post, I stated a myth that said however many days of mist in March, there will be that many days of frost in May. Today’s forecast from Accuweather is calling for some mist, so I’ll have to watch out for that. This may be our day #1 of mist. More later.

And I love it. Not actually walking in it, but I feel like we need cold days in winter, and we just haven’t had enough of them this year.
Currently, it is 20 degree F outside, according to KYW.
Accuweather also reports 20 degrees with a wind chill of -2.
weather.com reports 21 degrees with a real feel of 6.

So last night it snowed from around 4-8 pm. Then the skies cleared and it was perfect for viewing the lunar eclipse.

www.accuweather.com predicts snow this afternoon and Friday night. Long term prediction: Lots of snow on March 1.
The Old Farmers Almanac online predicts: Feb 18-23: Rain and snow, then sunny, cold; Feb 24-29: Snow, then heavy rain.
